Dell, based in Round Rock, announced the completion of ASAP Software from Corporate Express NV. The deal reportedly costs about $340 million.

ASAP Software, based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, provides information-technology services to corporations and government organizations. The company also has a subsidiary, License Technologies Group, which provides licensing and e-commerce services for software producers. 

Dell agreed to the transaction in August and it just became final. Last week Dell announced their biggest transaction ever. The acquisition of ASAP Software happened because Dell wants to expand their software business.
