Scottrade, an online brokerage firm, has announced that they will open a new office in Round Rock on December 10th. The company already has two offices in the Austin area but felt the need for a third office, north of the city to serve people that live between Austin and Waco better.

The Round Rock area was apparently a logical choice as the area has seen a large amount of growth in the past couple of years. The new office will have stock brokers available to answer questions that clients might have.

Scottrade, an online brokerage firm, does not actually provide financial advice. They provide the tools and research for customers to make their own deicisions concerning investments. The company’s offices do contain stock brokers in case questions do arise. They mainly serve investors that are comfortable making their own investment decisions.
